U.S. Board of Directors

Mark Seymour - Chair

Mark Seymour worked in the corporate world for 22 years, most recently as Vice President of Global Operations for several Silicon Valley technology companies. Mark, who is an active member in his church, was compelled to reconnect and give back to a country where he spent a number of years as a child.  At age 4, Mark moved to Zambia with his family where they lived in the suburbs of Lusaka, less than two hours from the communities Fountain of Life Africa is now partnering with.

Returning 35 years later, he saw a great need to come alongside the young children in rural communities, who are overlooked and under-served by other non-profit organizations and government social services.  This is particularly true in the areas of clean water, basic access to education and healthcare.

Together with Princess, he co-founded Fountain of Life Africa in 2009, holds the position of Executive Director, and is currently Board Chair. He manages a small team in Zambia to oversee the projects, working remotely and during his trips each year. Mark lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Linh and four children, where he is an avid bass player in the church worship band and a keen cyclist.
